Hello!👋 I'm Saksham. I've been designing digital experiences since 2019, covering areas like search, fintech, productivity, wearables, and IoT.
My experience includes working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams on numerous high-impact projects. I strive to tackle complex problems while balancing business goals and technical constraints to deliver exceptional user experiences.
🌎 Design Across Continents
I began my career with internships at Samsung in Bangalore and Microsoft in Hyderabad, eventually transitioning to a full-time product design role at Microsoft. Later, I moved to the Netherlands to work with Adyen, a leading fintech company based in Amsterdam.
⚙️ Interdisciplinary Approach
I have an interdisciplinary towards design, as I leverage my engineering background from IIT Delhi, and HCI & business knowledge from the University of Washington. Furthermore, my interest in psychology and human-centered design enhances my professional work.
📚 Research, Patents & Awards
I have worked in HCI research labs at the University of Washington, KU Leuven, IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay. I filed two patents during my tenure at Microsoft. I was the national winner for the Microsoft India Design Challenge in 2020.
🎹 Personal Pursuits
I enjoy playing the piano, playing tennis, travelling, cooking, watching Formula 1 and psychological thrillers. I'm also involved in creative pursuits like filmmaking, photography, and graphic design!
